Strumble Head is a West Michigan cover band doing music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. The band is known for playing a wide assortment of well-known hits using tight harmonies and superior musicianship to produce a sound that is “just like the radio”, to quote a fan. Unlike the radio however, Strumble Head puts on a show that gets everybody dancing and singing along. We make any party more fun! When practically every song is a "sing along" song, you can't help but get wrapped up in it and hit the dance floor. Now you can enjoy them too! “You guys are great!!! I got great feedback from our customers. They loved your music, so did I! Our Clientele loves it when you talk and kid around with them, getting them involved to sing and stuff. You guys sing all the songs that everybody knows and loves to sing along with. I was very happy you guys had your following come. Can't wait to have ya back!”
- Denise Flikkema, Grattan Irish Pub

“Strumble Head was great! We booked them for a surprise birthday party and they had people dancing within minutes. They are great musicians and are professional and accommodating. They sounded great and kept the party going with excellent songs. I’ve now booked them twice and will certainly have them back again!”
- James Engen CEO, Railside Golf Club

"Each summer we have an employee and family picnic for our organization. Food, sun, fellowship... We invited Strumble Head to our picnic in 2010 and they definitely added a new level of fun and energy to the party. I continue to get great comments from our employees about that day. We're looking forward to our next 'concert' with those guys!"
- Bryan Walker, CEO, KACRA Inc, Kalamazoo, MI

The Band:

Strumble Head is made up of guys that all take an active role in the creative direction by bringing their particular areas of expertise and quality musicianship to every aspect of the band. Members are:
Brian Lewis- Lead Vocals, Percussion:
Having been in many bands over the years from Daystar and Sapphire Blue to Basic Truth, Brian has been “up front and personal” with audiences for a long time. Participating in choir from grade school through high school, and being a music major in college gave him plenty of time to hone his talent. His vocal influences range from The Beatles to Zeppelin and Hendrix.
Mark Reilly – Lead Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals
Picking up Guitar and Piano in the early 80’s, Mark developed a style that allowed him to perform with many bands over the years like Wickerfish, appearing with The Verve Pipe at venues around Michigan. Other bands include The Possibilities, and Big Trouble Blues Band. With influences like by The Beatles, ‘pre-Wall’ Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, and Classic Soul music, he really has a diverse bag of tricks to throw at the fans.
Tim Hamm (joined 2012) - Bass:
Tim has over 20 years of experience both on stage and in the studio playing 4 and 5 string bass. He has played with Sojourn, and operates his own recording studio producing both bands and solo artists. Tim's diverse background brings a solid foundation to the rhythm section.

Rich Francisco (joined 2023) - Guitars/Keyboards/Vocals: - Rich has the challenge of replacing our founding member Rick Forberg. Rich has been playing in the southwest Michigan area for over 30 years, and has talents with guitar, keyboards, and vocals. His positive energy and excitement are a welcome addition to Strumble Head.

Tom Shipp - Drums:
Tom began playing percussion in the 4th grade and after 17 years took a long break from playing the drums. He has a wide range of musical influences from Blood, Sweat & Tears, Steely Dan, and the Doobie Brothers, to Spyro Gyra. Tom has jumped back into music with both feet, and both hands… with an enthusiasm for classic Rock & Roll hits. He provides that kick in those classic hits just the way you remember it. Strumble Head is Tom’s first stage experience.

Watch for a chance to see Strumble Head and enjoy some great classic rock from the past!
